Recycled Regatta

Instead of throwing your garbage away, use it to build a boat you can ride in and race on Bear Creek!

When: Saturday, September 11, 2010

Registration 10:00 – 10:30 am

Races start at 11:00 am

Where: Hwy 705 Canoe Access, Robbins, NC

Regatta Classes: Grades   K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12 and an open division (even adults can have fun at the Regatta!)

Prizes will be awarded for Fastest Time, Most Functional, Most Creative, Titanic Award

There will be some materials available to build your boat at the Regatta, but you’re encouraged to bring your creative craft with you.

Canoes and kayaks will also be available for some paddling fun after the Regatta.
